Nathan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Journalism and Professional Writing from the University of South Australia in 2020. After completing the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Nathan was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in February 2020.
Prior to commencing practice with Craig Caldicott Lawyers in April 2025, Nathan was Policy Manager at the Law Society of South Australia. In this role, Nathan distilled the views of the Society’s membership into submissions in response to complex Bills before State Parliament, draft regulations and rules of court, as well as submissions to the Law Council of Australia on issues affecting the national legal profession.
With a strong focus on and interest in the criminal law, Nathan analysed in detail reforms including proposed coercive control legislation, various changes to bail laws, dangerous driving and vehicle confiscation laws, as well as the Joint Criminal Rules 2022. With this policy background, Nathan remains passionate about the law and ensuring reforms are carefully considered and the subject of consultation with the legal profession.
This passion extends to his transition to legal practice, where Nathan will bring a well-rounded knowledge of the legislative landscape in assisting Craig, Emily and Taylor in a variety of criminal law matters in all jurisdictions in South Australia.
